We just got back from a week long cruise to the Mexican Riveria. It was a Reed Reunion thanks to the generousity of my grandparents, who so kindly footed the bill. There were many good times, late nights, laughter and most of all family!!! Thirty-one of us!!! Here are some of the our trip highlights....

Off to Puerta Vallarta the next day to venture the jungles in this mad machine...
and swing like monkeys tree to tree on ziplines......which was scary fun!

It was so much fun to be on vacation with most of my family and to see them and visit with them everyday. Families truly are a blessing and I only hope we can do it again someday.

The Event of the Summer

I have been counting the days until the release of the fourth book in the Twilight Series "Breaking Dawn"...I love, love these books! I was lucky enough to be invited to a fabulous party to celebrate the release! It was by invitation only (only for the true die hard fans!ha.) and the attire for the night was anything black, red or white. All the decor was black, red, and white, food same, prizes same! As I walked up to the house I was taken back by seeing Bella's truck parked out front...how cool is that? Once we all arrived, we were each given five red squares (Edward), five black squares (Jacob), and five white squares (Bella). You had to mingle w/ all the other 71 guests and if they mentioned any of the above mentioned names they had to give you a square and you then had a shot at winning a prize. The prizes were to die for! Bracelets, tshirts, aprons, purses, pillows, plates, vases, etc....here is a glimpse

I loved this shirt....
And these....so pretty!The amazing ladies that put this party on did not miss any detail!! We played a game where they had 80 quotes and you had to write down who said it and what book it was in...super fun. Then after we played VINGO (V-for vampires ha.) After midnight we were given the book, bookmark that had a small engagement ring attached to it (from Edward of course!) and a CD with a compliation of songs that coinside with the book. Everyone walked away w/ a prize or two or three! Here's a pic of my friend Rebecca and the loot she was given.. I can't remember what her shirt said but you get the idea..

Big shout out to Abbie and her friends Melanie and Shasta for putting on the most fabulous party! There wasn't a detail missed...I love those kind of parties! I know there were hours of preparation and it didn't go unnoticed. It truly was the event of the summer! I had a blast and am counting down to the Twilight movie premier party!
