Saturday was super busy for our family. It all started at 8:30am when we ventured out in the snow storm to Orem to attend my mom's work Christmas party for the kids. We watched Surf's Up at the movie theater and was given treat bags and gift bags w/ all the holiday trinkets the little one's desire. Santa made his appearance and the kids put in their wishlist.

Then it was off to the mall to find out what dad wants for Christmas....2 hours later we are in the car headed to Sandy this time to the Festival of Trees. Alex's class decorated and donated a sports-themed tree that we spent a good hour looking for....it was one of the very last rows we decided to tour. Phew...we were worried we weren't going to find it. That place is huge! I love looking at all the trees though and of course we did not get out of there without the kids doing some sort of craft (note the reindeer antlers on their heads). Here is the pic of Alex's class tree.

I thought this was a unique idea for a tree...it was turned upside down and made to be a fairy forest.
Both Carter and I got a kick out of this one..Star Wars is a family favorite.

After the Festival we piled the kids in the car and made a quick stop to a fitness store. The kids wanted to stay in the car and finish watching Home Alone. We allowed it because we could see them from inside the store. Anyway, when we return we find that Kennedy has lost a tooth. WHAT??? She is 4. I feel it is a little early..however, she has been dying to lose a tooth and has secretly wiggled them. Apparently she had a loose one because all it took was Syd getting annoyed with her and hit her mouth...out popped the tooth, no blood, no crying. She wasn't upset by Syd's retaliation..she was psyched!!
Hours before.. all teeth in tact. Ironic I took this random picture at lunch.

After 15 minutes in the car with an upset 3 year old sister...she is spreading the good news!!

She was really excited to call her cousin Easton who just lost a tooth a few weeks ago and she was super jealous!
We made a pit stop at home then off the the Ward Christmas Party....we were all beat by the time we finally made it home for good. Fun weekend! Let the holiday season begin!!!
