Tuachan

This past weekend I went with my mom, grandma and some of my aunts and cousins to go see "My Fair Lady" at the Tuachan theater in St. George! I love the scenery there, it is so beautiful...*hot*, but beautiful. :) We had a great weekend..swimming, games, eating out, visiting and best of all time w/ grandma! Fabulous!

Once we found our seats, we were surprised to see that my dad's cousin Sharon (visiting from California) had seats directly behind us....too funny!!

I am lucky enough to have a cousin that is one of my best friends! We were born exactly 6 days apart and have shared everything together from our love of dance, movies, and hairstyles, to sharing birthday parties!! We served in student government together in Jr. High and made the cheer squad together in High School. We even roomed together in college. It's comforting to know that no matter what happens she will always be there.. I Love ya, Chelle!

Okay.. so me and one of my best friends Marni are total GTU fans and went to a taping of this local TV show today. Of course, we are are total geeks and had to get our pic taken w/ the girls of the show. I must admit it was a lot of fun! It was interesting to see the set and the "behind the scene" action. There was a fashion show for back to school on today and for being part of the audience we received a free Down East Basics "Wonder Tee". (yah us!...love free things!) There were a few shots of the audience at the first and end of the show that Marni and I were in....my little girls were so excited to see mommy and Marni on TV. :) It was a great day out!

Alex's First Day Of School

Yeah! Today was the first day of second grade for Alexandra. She had a great day and is loving her new teacher. She was excited to learn that she gets her own bottle of "hanitizer" at her desk. She couldn't wait to go to school to learn and use her new "High School Musical" school bag. (It's all about Troy)

The Wait Is FINALLY Over....

What time is it? ??? It's HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL 2 TIME! booyah! Alex really wanted to have a HSM2 party so we invited some of her friends and had our own little premier party....it was so fun! The only thing we were missing was big sister Mykee to join in all the fun!


Of course we bought HSM plates & napkins and as I always do at any gathering .....made super yummy cupcakes!!!

Okay, so we bought the soundtrack on Tuesday and so anytime the songs came on they all got up and danced around....so enjoy pics of our little premier party!!

Double Feature!

My mom, sister and I took the girls to a matinee on Tuesday to finally see Hairspray!! The girls were anxious to go...they have been begging to see it. I thought it was great ! The girls were enthralled by the music the whole time and even Syd sat in her seat w/out complaint!

Then later that night I had a GNO w/ Marni & Robin and we saw the movie Becoming Jane. Okay, so good! Highly recommended for the female viewing audience! It was interesting to see how her life experiences influenced some of her greatest works. I found there were a lot of parallel's between her own life and her book "Pride & Prejudice".

Happy Birthday Bryton!!

Today Bryton is 14 years old!! He is so much fun and full of adventure! He called yesterday to tell us he now has a pet snake!!! Say what?? AAAHHHH! I would totally freak out, but he says his other mom is handling it okay. (way to be brave Michelle!) He loves to skateboard and wakeboard. He is such a sweet, handsome boy and we are so blessed to have him in our family! Happy 14th Birthday Bryton, we love you!

Happy Birthday To.....ME!! :)

Today is my birthday...we won't say how old because in my mind I am still 28. Carter and I were asked to speak in church today...when Carter first told me I thought he was joking since it is my bday and all.... but um no! I knew it was coming though. Carter was called to be Young Mens President a few weeks ago so I knew we couldn't hide for long. :) It has been a fun day full of phone calls, texts, emails, and best of all presents!!

The birthday celebration started a little early this year....Last night Carter and I went out w/some our good friends the Bodell's, Reid's and Minson's. It was a great night at the Outback Steakhouse and the Comedy Sportz club in Provo. Here I am w/ just the girls after the comedy show. We had a lot of fun!!
