The newest addition

Welcome Liberty Kay Lee the newest addition to the Lee family! Isn't she so sweet? I am behind in posting so this should have been posted weeks ago but congratulations to Robin & Clayton! We can't wait to hold her. :)

Lava Hot Springs

Summer has officially begun and that means we have Bryton & Mykee for their summer visit! Wahoo! We asked them when they were here for Christmas what they wanted to do in the summer and both replied "Lava Hot Springs". We took them last year and they loved it. It is a quaint town in Idaho w/ a gigantic swimming pool with Olympic size diving platforms!! There is also the Portneuf river the kids like to tube down and feel the hot springs that dump into the river. There is something to be said about a small town...going there makes me feel nostalgic for the time when life was simple. Where everything you could need was a hop, skip and a jump away from home and you would know everyone in town! It is such a fun place to visit, Bryton packed his skateboard and would skate everywhere he needed to go. I went out for a run and ran right out of town because it is so small, I had to zig zag blocks and by the time I was done had ran up, down and all through the town. Steve and Mandy live only 40 minutes away and the met up w/ us at the pool one day and Steve was like a kid again jumping off the platforms w/ Bryton time and time again!!

Mykee contemplating the 2nd platform...she did it along w/ the 3rd!!

So the weather has been a little crazy lately, but this brought some excitement to our conversation in the car the other day. It was the biggest and brightest rainbow we have ever laid eyes on!

Our Graduates

Well, another school year has come and gone. Seriously, where does the time go? Syd and Kenny were in the same preschool class this year, along w/ our little neighbor Zach. All in all I think they enjoyed being in the same class. Although, there were days when all Kennedy could talk about was wanting to go back to her preschool from last year. Those days aside, it was fun ...fun b/c I was able to go on field trips w/ both of them at the same time, fun to hear them sing the same songs, fun to see them making new friends, and last fun to see them enjoy not only being sisters but best friends!! I never thought I would have two kids in preschool at the same time, but it is the way things worked out and now I would not have it any other way. It has been enjoyable to see them go through this stage together and to look out for one another. We love you ....our graduates...Kidney & Sennedy (as they are sometimes called..ha ha!)

Mad Hatter Tea Party

This year was the first year Syd actually had a friend birthday party. I always let the girls choose their theme and this year Syd decided she wanted a Alice in Wonderland party...hmmm....so this is what I came up with.
The Invite..... The guest of honor....

The decor..... (we had the Unbirthday song, Painting the Roses Red, and Golden Afternoon constantly playing in the background)

The goodies....

Some of her guests....

The presents....

The cutest little Alice I have ever seen.....

Her cute little friends kept saying "She looks like the real Alice" , so she went by the name Alice for the day. She would curtsy and say "How do you do?". She loved being Alice and loved having all her friends over to celebrate her birthday!

Of course she wanted to be Alice again at her birthday celebration at Gramee & Papa's. She took a moment to let me take some pics and pose w/ the cat. (just like Alice and her cat Dinah)

I sure love this girl...my own little Alice!
