Highlights of our trip:
*Oreganos (twice!)- i cannot get enough of the chicken caesar salad!
*Hiking some of the trails at Usery Pass w/ Carter
*All the Lee's eating at Grimaldi's
*Carter realizing that we were sitting by Brian Urlarcher (player for Chicago Bears) at Grimaldi's
*Shopping, Shopping,and more Shopping
*Playing w/ baby Corbin
*Tia rosa's
*Thrifty's ice cream- chocolate malted crunch (a Lee family fav)
*Breakfast with my old roomates
*Going to the skatepark w/ Bryton and taking pics of him in action!
*Trying to use the self-timer on my camera, running to be in the picture and every pic turned out w/ fog on the bottom.

*The Soda Pop Shop - buying Chocolate soda with intentions of it being a yummy drink, but it tasted like barf..and having Bryton & Mykee try it.

Happy Valentines Day

A little piece of Arizona has moved a little closer to home. Paradise Bakery just opened in Sandy...I am so glad to now be able to get my little "chippers" when I crave them. :) Yummy! Oh, and super good sandwiches too!

A Shout Out

To my sis-in-law Anne for remembering that we love Coke in a bottle and even better the Coke bottled in Mexico. There is nothing better than some chips & salsa w/ bottled Coke it is a rare treat! (though Carter is drinking it like water..I have had maybe 4 since you brought them and he has at least one a day)! When I drink it I feel like we are back in AZ enjoying some great Mexican food as it is intended...with Coke from Mexico. You are the best and I love that you always remember the little things that can make a person happy. I only hope to repay the favor someday.

Yet another example

Of how my girls know how to accessorize! We were out shopping and I was looking at something of interest for maybe one minute is all.. I turn around and this is what I see.

Lil Chefs

A few weeks ago I asked the girls if they wanted to help me make some cookies. They responded with a huge YES and then ran upstairs. This is how they came down, apron, chef hats and even their pretend mixers and measuring cups. They make me laugh, they know how to accessorize for any occasion! I love being their mom!

Snow Fun

This past weekend we had a house full of kids! The Reid kids stayed with us while their parents bask in the warm Cancun sun (enjoy Marni & Landon!). Our kids were in heaven having some of their best friends spend the weekend w/ us....p-a-r-tay! On Saturday we thought it would be fun to take all the kids sledding, which it was for about an hour and then everyone needed a drink and to use the potty so we packed everyone up and headed back home. :)
